Michael Sandvik is a composer, conductor, music educator, and choral clinician. He is known for his choral writing, and especially his vibrant spirituals. His music has been performed coast to coast in the USA and around the world. He connects his choral writing with his Adventist faith, and his love for Jesus and the Bible. In 2006 He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Walla Walla University. He completed his Master of Music in Choral Conducting in 2012 at Andrews University. Since 2006, Michael has taught choral and classroom music from grades pre-k through 12. He is happily married to Heidi Sandvik, a piano teacher (MMA). Besides music, he enjoys Bible study, running, gardening, commercial fishing, and nature.
